This pump has less moving parts to increase pump durability, with a high contamination tolerance. It is excellent for degassing oils, plastics, epoxies, etc. Other uses include refrigeration service, dehydration, backing pump for diffusion pumps, and vacuum ovens and furnaces. This pump should not be operated continouusly at pressures above 10 Torr.
