The included gasket, with an application of vacuum grease assures a tight seal down to 0ºC
The polypropylene stopcock has a Teflon plug that turns easily to allow a slow, turbulence free entrance of air which minimizes a disturbance of contents.
The stopcock has a high visibilty red handle and accepts 6.4mm (1/4") I.D. tubing.
No need for grease but not harmed if grease is used
