Our Pump Filters Are Extremely Crucial Parts
A functioning pump is only as good as the parts that it relies upon. At TPW Vacuum, we understand that, and that’s why we offer a wide variety of pump filters, traps, and accessories you need to ensure your pumps are operating efficiently. Filters are important for keeping the exhaust from a pump to a minimum, and so naturally, they are placed on the back of the pump. Something like a pump trap, for example, would actually be placed on the front of the pump. We have a wide variety of filters and traps that vary depending on the type and the range- essentially, it’s based on whichever application the customer desires to perform.
Obviously, we aim to have the most high quality filters we can find. For example, the 1417 Exhaust filter is made to filter to 0.3 micron size and helps to reduce pump noise. It is made in a screw-in style, and provides easy replacement of the element. We also have the Welch pump exhaust filter 1417A with a large, high capacity. It features a 360 swivel outlet with tubing connector, and continuously separates oil mist from the vacuum pump exhaust and by gravity returns the oil to the pump. Read more...
In addition to a wide assortment of pump filters, we also have a selection of pump traps, including those used for acid neutralization, cold traps, and coaxial inlet traps. Our rugged 1420H-14 Dry Ice/ Liquid Nitrogen cold trap is an inexpensive, efficient solution for providing low cost, high quality vapor trapping. Its sturdy high grade stainless steel design makes it resistant to most solvents for a more reliable operation. We currently carry two different coaxial traps for NW-16 and NW-25, and each protects the pump from harmful substances that are present in the pump system and/or formed during the pumping process. These traps are also a great choice if you need to block fluid from backstreaming into the system, which can lead to contamination.
Our acid neutralization pump traps are large alkaline element cartridges that neutralize hydrous acids. They have a transparent trap body for element viewing, and include a hinge clamp, centering ring, and elbow. We also offer a pump connector kit that can be used in combination with the trap.
